Account information

The Chinese mainland service verifies accounts with a +86 mobile number and SMS code. The international service uses an email address or the account identifier supplied through Sign in with Apple. We use this information for sign-in, account security, membership entitlements, and AI usage limits.

Standard photography and AI request images

The standard camera and basic photography work on device without an account. Ordinary photos are not uploaded as a cloud photo library. Only when you request AI photography guidance does the app upload one compressed current frame after removing EXIF, including possible location metadata. The image is used only to answer that request and is deleted after analysis.

Membership and transaction information

We process membership status, remaining uses, and transaction references needed to verify App Store purchases. Apple handles payment, and we do not receive your card number or full payment credentials.

Necessary technical information

To transmit requests, secure the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures, service providers may process IP address, request time, app version, and error information for no longer than necessary. This information is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or marketing profiles.

Location

LookDot does not request, access, collect, or upload your geographic location. Before an AI request is sent, the app removes any location metadata that may be present in image EXIF.

Regional processing

Chinese mainland accounts use services in the China region; international accounts use services in an international region. Accounts, request images, and logs are not synchronized across regions by default. Local SMS, email, cloud infrastructure, and AI providers may differ by region.

Retention, deletion, and your rights

Temporary AI images are deleted after analysis. Account data is retained until account deletion or for the period required by law, security, or dispute handling. You can request account deletion in the app or contact us to exercise applicable access, correction, or deletion rights.

Website and service providers

The website uses no advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, or nonessential cookies. Hosting and CDN providers may process necessary network logs for delivery and security. Apple, SMS, email, cloud, and AI providers process information only as needed to provide their functions.

Minors, updates, and contact
